Train

Based on the novel by award winning author, Pete Dexter. In 1950s Los Angeles, a young, black, golf caddy navigates life filled with racial tension that manifests both within the hostility of the club’s patrons as well as in the brutal hierarchy imposed by the other caddies. Befriending a club member, who is also a police sergeant, leads to a change; together they embark on a cross-country golfing trip to hustle people. Along the way they discover a bloody crime that left a lone survivor - a beautiful young widow. When these three lives intersect, violence and tenderness rises to the surface.
