The Desert Rider

Matteo is a fashion designer in full command of his abilities. People want to be part of the world he creates. Fashion houses envy his breakthroughs. His creations are works of art. Yet there is something missing. The fire and passion that once drove his designs has faded and he feels adrift.

The death of his Father brings him into an existential crisis. While Matteo hadn’t returned to see his family in some time due to his work, he deeply loved his Father. It was through him that Matteo learned about life and found the joy of motorcycle racing. In honor of his father, Matteo decides to compete in the most dangerous and grueling race - the Dakar Rally, a ten day journey across an unforgiving desert. It’s on this brutal ride, as his body and mind are pushed to the breaking point, that Matteo rediscovers the beauty of life in the desert sands, amongst the rocks, under the blazing sun. It’s here that he confronts his past and finds the inspiration to create once more.

The Desert Rider is an adrenaline filled epic adventure. Thematically it explores the nature of greatness and purpose. Matteo’s journey of discovery will be both emotionally riveting and visually stunning as we move back and forth in time between his memories and the race as he seeks to find his passion for life again.
